Ōno District, Ōita

Ōno (大野郡 Ōno-gun?) was a district located in Ōita Prefecture, Japan.

As of January 1, 2005 the district had 6 towns and 2 villages.

On January 1, 2005, the town of Notsu dissolved from the district when the town merged with the city of Usuki to form the new city of Usuki. The remaining 5 towns and 2 villages merged on March 31, 2005 to form the new city of Bungo-ōno and Ōno District dissolved.
